Welcome Show Junkies

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers, grandfathers and great grandfathers out there.

And to those who haven’t joined the father group yet … it’s an adventure like no other and I’m grateful that my sweetheart batted those big brown eyes and invited me into becoming a father;)

We’ve got another great week ahead with 42 car shows on the roster.

Like last week this week’s weather forecast is like a swap meet … a mixture of everything.

Anywho, the week is filled with car shows like the Victoria bi-monthly car show.

I’ve attended several of the Victoria shows and really enjoy the mixture of classics, vintage, customs, hot rods and exotics that show up.

There are not many shows where a McLaren, Lotus or Ferrari are sitting still long enough to get a good look at.

The Victoria Car show is a great show and worth a drive to visit this western metro town.

This year when the family asks what you want to do for Fathers Day we’ve got a great option … The 27th annual Fathers Day car show in Red Wing Minnesota.

Famous for legendary leather boots and custom pottery Red Wings historic downtown is beautiful.

A must see is Colvill Park situated on the river at the south end of Red Wing.

My family has visited the park for family reunions for 50+ years and the river views, playgrounds and picnic areas are top notch.

Henderson Classic Car Roll-In

Location: Henderson Minnesota

All classic cars are welcome to join in on one of the best roll-ins in the midwest. The Henderson Classic Car Roll In begins May 28 and is held every Tuesday night from 5 - 8 pm. Stroll the historic Main Street of downtown Henderson and visit all the businesses and food vendors. Registration is free for classic car owners and visitors.
