Minnesota Car Shows Scheduled this week and weekend

With the show season drawing to a close (NOOOOOO) it’s a good time to include a new feature in the newsletter. I’m starting with an excellent way to see cars, car shows and everything automotive from the comfort of your recliner. And I can’t think of many other good ways to spend the days, nights and blustery cold weekends than in the warmth of your home or Mancave watching TV, specifically Youtube video’s. I recently stumbled upon a series of videos referred to as “Junk Yard Crawls” by Steve Magnante. Steve has an impressive resume that includes writing for several car magazines, 7 years as an editor with Hot Rod Magazine and appearances on Hot Rod Magazine TV. The videos take place at auto salvage yards with Steve hosting. Each video focuses on a specific car found at the yard. Steve dives into details about the production numbers, new and unique features along with the design. One of my favorite topics are tips on how to identify the rare vehicles when the obvious signs are missing, like badging, motors or tags. Steve’s Youtube channel currently has over 800 videos, 124k subscribers and 26 million views. One the most popular videos is the one titled 426 Hemi Cordoba. Car Clubs of MN - Caffeine & Octane located at the AutoMotorplex in Medina from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Unique Classic Cars Roll-in located at Unique Auto in Mankato from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and there will be live music and food trucks at the event

Frankensteiners Ball 18 located at the Isanti County Fairgrounds in Cambridge from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with door prizes, food vendors, coloring contest and trick-n-treating for the kids. Non-perishable food donations are being collected for Family Pathways.

Turner Evolution Minneapolis located at the Minneapolis Convention Center from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This is an inagural event focused custom car enthusiasts.

A first time full automotive lifestyle event, that showcases many aspects of the aftermarket automotive culture, including some of the hottest customized vehicles in the country competing for top honors, vendors showing off their latest products, entertainment acts including, Performances, influencers, DJ's giveaways and so much more!
