The fall colors are in full bloom, the leaves are falling and the end of Minnesota's outdoor car show season is upon us. But don't give up hope and stay tuned for events of interest.
Vice Grip Garage
This week I’m sharing my favorite Youtube channel, the Vice Grip Garage. The channel is focused on rescuing classic automobiles that have been off the road for decades. Derek is an experienced mechanic with over 350 rescues. Most of the videos focus on getting the car or truck running again and driving it back to his home in Tennessee. What makes these videos so good is that Derek shares his knowledge of common problems to inspect, how to make the repairs along with the surprises. It doesn’t end there, the videos follow along during the drive home including the problems encountered and the fixes. Derek’s colorful personality adds fun to the video and really makes these videos fun for the whole family. With 1.68 million subscribers, 426 videos and over 458 million views the Vice Grip Garage is truly educational and entertaining. The second most popular video is a good place to start and with 11 million views it features the rescue of a 1960 Chevrolet El Camino.
